Frequently Asked Questions

How do I scan a product?

Open the app and tap the scan button on the main screen. Point your camera at the product's barcode. The app will automatically detect and analyse the product.

What does the health score mean?

The health score (1-10) is based on an AI analysis of the product's ingredients, processing level (NOVA classification), and nutritional content. A higher score indicates a less processed, healthier product. This is for educational purposes and is not medical advice.

How do I manage my subscription?

Your subscription is managed through your device's app store. On iOS, go to Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions. On Android, go to Google Play Store > Menu > Subscriptions. You can cancel or modify your subscription at any time.

Can I get a refund?

Refunds are processed through the app store where you made the purchase. For Apple, visit reportaproblem.apple.com. For Google Play, visit your order history in the Google Play app.

How do I delete my account?

You can delete your account from within the app. Go to the Account/Profile section and tap "Delete Account". This will permanently remove all your data. Please cancel any active subscriptions first through your device's app store.

Is the health information in the app medical advice?

No. All information provided by the app, including the Health Assistant, is for educational purposes only. It is based on published nutritional science and food research. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional for personal medical advice.

What is the NOVA classification?

NOVA is a food classification system developed by researchers at the University of Sao Paulo, Brazil. It groups foods into four categories based on processing level: unprocessed/minimally processed, processed culinary ingredients, processed foods, and ultra-processed foods.
